A WACKY mum who married a tree has celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Kate Elder, 38 — who took the name of its species — maintained it was “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made”.

But Kate of Melling, who has a boyfriend and two kids, also said the wedding “made me feel a bit more confident”.
She added: “It’s given me a new purpose.”
