Jose Mourinho offers honest assessment of Tanguy Ndombele

Jose Mourinho has spoken about Tanguy Ndombele’s current situation at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Spurs head coach was asked during today’s pre-Everton press conference about the club record signing amid speculation over the course of the summer linking him with a move away from North London (Guardian).

Mourinho has admitted that he has been pleased with the efforts of the former Lyon midfielder in training after recovering from an injury which kept him out of the last few matches of last season.

However, the Portuguese did insist that Ndombele must continue to show commitment and desire to work hard by insisting that the 23-year-old’s potential is clear to see.
