Sky reporter claims Spurs may wait three months to sign striker to save money
Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could bide their time with their rumoured interest in Arkadiusz Milik.
The Polish striker has entered the last twelve months of his contract at Napoli and could leave the club on a free transfer next summer.
With the Serie A side holding out for £32.5million in order to allow the 26-year-old to leave, Sheth suggested that Spurs may look to delay their interest and instead make a pre-contract offer in January and instead land hm on a free transfer next summer.
Sheth revealed that he had discussed the situation with his Sky Italia colleague Gianluca Di Marzio, who in turn admitted that Spurs are unlikely to meet Napoli’s current valuation.
