Mark Consuelos Dishes On 'Riverdale's Seven Year Time Jump
Mark Consuelos is opening up about what’s ahead for the upcoming season of Riverdale during a new interview with Sirius XM.
The 49-year-old actor, who plays Veronica Lodge’s dad Hiram on the hit CW series, revealed that the time jump, which he describes as “exciting”.

“Season 5 is graduation, and then they’re going to jump-cut seven years after a few episodes,” he explained during his appearance on Quarantined with Bruce. “Which was a decision not to stay in the college.”
Mark adds that “some people are in different relationships and I think I’ve read the first six episodes. It’s super interesting. I’m excited to do it.”
“I’m up to my old shenanigans [as Hiram] but I’m excited to get back to work.”
If you didn’t see, star Lili Reinhart also opened up about the time jump as well, and revealed she’s “psyched”.
