RHONY: Money Ruined Dorinda Medley & Tinsley Mortimer's Relationship
It has become clear that money is the root of all evil and may have ruined Dorinda and Tinsley's relationship on The Real Housewives of New York.
During the season finale, Dorinda Medley accused Tinsley Mortimer of breaching her contract on The Real Housewives of New York. Fans watched as Dorinda let out months of ill will towards Tinsley for leaving the show midseason. Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New York has ended, and fans are shaken at the way Dorinda stormed out of the party. Tinsley Mortimer left New York City behind earlier in the season after she became engaged to her fiancé, Scott Kluth. The couple became engaged back in November 2019. Dorinda Medley has not spoken to or acknowledged Tinsley until the last episode.
Even though Tinsley Mortimer left halfway through the season Bravo decided to still give her a say at the tell-all reunion special. Fans watched Dorinda as she sat in her seat clearly annoyed that she had to entertain the life-size Barbie. Tinsley made it known she was upset about the "turkey baster" comment and the real reason their friendship hit a rough patch.
During the reunion, Tinsley made it perfectly clear that her fiancé did not force her to leave the show. She instead chose to leave for love. She revealed that she knew the "was definitely an issue for him" but he never told her to quit. Andy Cohen then asked if she had spoken with Dorinda since the show to which she replied, "No, of course not." Andy got to the point and asked what Dorinda’s major malfunction with Tinsley was. The reality star replied, “I believe half of what I hear in life and all of what I see. There was a lot of stuff that went on." Tinsley shocked everyone when she revealed what had actually happened saying back in season 11 when the girls were in Miami, Scott had given money to John Mahdessian telling Dorinda, "you and I got in this horrific fight that was not on camera because I had told you that Scott had generously given John some money that you did not know about." Tinsley made a solid point in saying that Dorinda felt betrayed and took her anger out on Tinsley instead of John.
To fans, it was clear that at one point in their lives these women were actually friends. But now it is safe to assume that there will never be a real relationship between them again as too much has been said that can not be taken back.
