Massive boost for Jose Mourinho as Spurs ace returns to training
The good news keeps on coming for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham after Giovani Lo Celso returned to first-team training on Wednesday morning.
Lo Celso didn’t feature throughout the whole of pre-season and missed Spurs’ opening day defeat to Everton with a hamstring injured he sustained towards the end of last season.
Tottenham are training (watch live) ahead of their Europa League second qualifying round tie in Bulgaria against Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Thursday and a number of reporters noticed the return of the Argentinian, who hasn’t featured competitively since the final day draw at Crystal Palace in July.
In further good news, Giovani Lo Celso is currently training with the Tottenham squad this morning.

Mourinho will speak to the press later today, where he’ll no doubt provide a full injury update on his squad before confirming whether Lo Celso is fit enough to be available for selection for the game in Bulgaria.
However, there was no sign of defender Japhet Tanganga at Hotspur Way – with the centre-back still sidelined with thigh problem he suffered in pre-season.
