Bokaro admn sounds alert in dam areas

Bokaro: Heavy rainfall for the past 48 hours has forced district administration to declare high alert in areas close to rivers as all the three dams (Garga, Tenughat and Konar) in the district have opened their sluice gates following rise in water levels. Massive water discharged has flooded rivers including the Damodar River which enters West Bengal after flowing through various parts of the district.
