Pictures from the event suggested that social distancing rules were being flouted

She told the Sun on Sunday cops visited after they had a noise complaint, but sources said it was over social gathering rules.

Carina, 32, who won The Apprentice last year, said: “It was a prosecco launch event and when the police van came the policemen walked around.

“I said the capacity was 42 people and he said that was fine. I don’t know what the actual rule at the time was, it was obviously before the rule of six people came into play.

“Someone called the police because of the music, they just wanted to see how long it was going on for, we had our events licence up until midnight and we were only going on until 8pm.

Videos posted to her Instagram account showed dozens of revellers celebrating at the booze-filled bash

“People were in their own groups of six and we very much followed the rules at the time. I was going to put someone on the door so we didn’t accept any walk-ins off the street.”

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called on the evening of Saturday, 12 September to reports of a noise disturbance and anti-social behaviour at commercial premises on High Street in Beckenham.

“Officers attended and spoke with those in attendance.”

However, other sources have said police came over social gathering rules
The event looked crowded and very boozy on videos
