90 Day Fiancé: Larissa Out Of ICE Custody Shortly After being Arrested
After being detained for a few hours on Saturday, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Larissa Dos Santos Lima got released by ICE.
On Saturday, fans received the shocking news that 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Larissa Dos Santos Lima got arrested by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) for unknown reasons. However, she has now been released by the agency.
On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Larissa shared that she fears getting arrested and deported. She arrived in the States on a K-1 visa after getting engaged to her now ex-husband Colt Johnson. However, after their split in May 2019, the Nevada native withdrew his affidavit of support and also canceled his ex-wife's green card application. He said, "I don't care where she ends up, it could be the U.S., Mars or Brazil, I just don't want to be responsible for her. If she could try to get a green card or visa any way she wants, she can stay in America for the rest of her life, I don't care." Since then, the Brazilian has been looking for ways to stay in America and live her dreams. She recently announced on Instagram that she and her boyfriend Eric Nichols had sold their house in Las Vegas, and now they were relocating to Colorado Springs. While moving out, the TLC star also posted a picture of her U-Haul truck. Right around the moment, her Brazilian friend Carmen shared the news that she got arrested. Carmen said that they are unaware of the reasons why the agency picked up Larissa. She wrote, "As I have more info I will keep you guys posted. Send prayers."
Later on, Larissa's legal team updated her fans and said they were "working meticulously on her release and clearing up this misunderstanding." Fortunately, the 33-year-old reality star has now been released. She posted a video on Instagram and let her 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans know that she was "Outee," the officers were "very nice" with her, and she is "Good to go." She captioned the post as "Thank you everyone for all the prayers." Check out the video below:
It seems like she's sitting inside the U-Haul truck and on the way to her new home in the new state. Eric also posted a video of his girlfriend coming out of the ICE detention facility. He captioned it as, "Started with Larissa and I in the beginning and in 'the end.'" Here's the adorable video he posted:
Many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers speculated that probably Colt and his mother, Debbie Johnson, had something to do with Larissa's arrest. However, Debbie denied all the accusations and wrote (via Cheat Sheet), "Don't spread lies you know nothing about. Colt or I didn't have anything to do with this. Please don't tag me." Still, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans are curious and concerned to know the reason for Larissa's detention. Perhaps her legal teams would have some answers.
