Remnant: From The Ashes - Best Things to Do After Beating The Game
While most Souls-like video games give players a massive sword, Remnant: From The Ashes gives its players a bunch of firearms to choose from. This changes up the formula for this genre a lot and gives players a whole new move set to learn and experiment with. On top of this the game is entirely randomly generated which can make for some very interesting gameplay mechanics. Eventually, players will make their way through the entirety of the game's campaign.
When this happens though it leaves players wondering what they should be doing next. The game isn't really an open-world RPG, so it can be difficult to determine what the next option is after pushing through the final boss. There is actually a decent amount of content for players to explore once the game has been completed. This guide shows the player what to do after they beat Remnant: From The Ashes.
Collect All The Weapons- Since the game is randomly generated that means that most of the weapons and collectibles are as well. Players will have most likely missed out on some very exciting weapons during the course of their playthrough, so a good idea is to go hunting for new firearms or melee weapons.
Check Out The Armor Vendor- With one of the most recent free updates to the game players are now able to check out a brand new armor vendor who provides players with a bunch of different armor choices. Players will need to track down glowing fragments to purchase them, but it is more than worth it.
Collect Weapon Mods- One of the most unique items in the game are Weapon Mods. These add new abilities and status effects to weapons, and they are also mostly randomly generated. Trying to track down new types can be a fun way to spend time.
Replay On A Harder Difficulty- The base game is fairly difficult on its own, but most players will be able to make it through it with no issues. By playing on a higher difficulty though players will get a greater challenge out of the game and will earn more experience points for their character. The upside is that the player gets to keep all of their items upon restarting.
Try to Find All The Bosses- Since the game is once again randomly generated, it is impossible to see all of the bosses in one playthrough. By restarting the game players will be able to fight brand new enemies and collect different weapons and mods from them.
Play The DLC- There are two different major DLCs for Remnant: From The Ashes and they are well worth the player's time. The second one, Subject 2923, even lets players explore a brand new area of the game. The best part is that players can also acquire new items and collectibles that don't appear in the base game.
Remnant: From The Ashes can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
