Big Brother 22: Reasons Why Cody & Nicole Are The Strongest Final 2 Alliance
The Committee alliance has dominated Big Brother 22: All-Stars, but a Final 2 deal between Cody Calafiore and Nicole Franzel could become the dominant force in the coming weeks. During the first few weeks of BB22, two six-person alliances were formed between the houseguests. First there was the Slick Six, which involved Bayleigh, Da'Vonne, Enzo, Cody, Tyler, and Daniele. Simultaneously, Memphis formalized the Committee alliance along with Christmas, Nicole Franzel, Daniele, Tyler, and Cody. Considering that Dani, Cody, and Tyler were in both alliances, the fans concluded that they were occupying the best positions in the game.
Over the weeks, the Slick Six imploded and the Committee became the dominant group of Big Brother 22. With that said, as the season approaches its endgame, many of the Committee alliance members started to get tested as well. At one point, Tyler asked to be put on the block, and some of his allies considered fulfilling his wish. There was also the consideration of backdooring Daniele during one particular week. Furthermore, there are many houseguests who think that Memphis and Christmas' brash personalities will get them evicted whenever a player on the opposing side becomes Head of Household.
When analyzing all of the possible outcomes that have been outlined by certain Committee alliance members on Big Brother: All-Stars, one thing has remained true: Nicole and Cody's names have never been brought up as possible backdoor options or sacrifices. There is no official Final 2 agreement formed between Cody and Nicole yet, but it certainly feels like this is where things are going. Nicole is keeping the Committee girls - Christmas and Daniele - targetting other male players that aren't Cody. In turn, Cody is ensuring that Tyler and Memphis worry about Dani and Christmas before they think to evict Nicole. In a way, it is Cody and Nicole who are in the best possible positions in the game so far, and it's hard not to see the unspoken but strong alliance that they have inside the house.
All things considered, there is a path for Cody and Nicole to get to the end of Big Brother 22 together, but there are also various possibilities that they won't. If Memphis is never targeted by someone like David or Kevin, then his personal agreements with Enzo, Cody, and Christmas might outweigh other Final 3 and Final 2 deals in the house. It's also possible that Nicole won't have numbers on her side when the Committee does turn on Daniele, given how close they've been all season. On the other hand, taking Nicole to the end can be very advantageous to the alliance - it's unlikely that a jury would give her a second check of $500,000 over someone else who never won.
The second phase of Big Brother: All-Stars is just about to end, and the last stretch of the game will be all about the Committee alliance being turned inside out. Memphis, Tyler, Christmas, and Daniele are still in much worse positions than Cody and Nicole at the moment, but the game could change this reality in the coming weeks.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8pm EST on CBS.
