Which Harry Potter Order Member Is Your Soulmate, Based On Your Zodiac Sign?
The real force against Lord Voldemort's first attempt to garner power was Dumbledore's secret establishment known as the Order of the Phoenix. Its members are predominantly good people, with the rare exception, having been selected and given access codes to their headquarters personally by the Headmaster.
There have been technically two different Orders (the one during Harry Potter comprising a somewhat different set of people than earlier.) Are any of them going to make worthwhile soulmates, though? A Zodiac compatibility list may help narrow down the potentials.
11 Aries - Harry Potter
Who wouldn't want to be romantically involved with Harry Potter, the Chosen One, the Boy Who Lived? Probably anyone with a weak stomach and a delicate heart, because that boy is going to drag them through some horrible messes at some point.
If the Order had existed when he was an adult, he would absolutely have stayed a part of it.
An Arian, though, with their eagerness and zeal, might handle all those adventures without fleeing in fear (much like Ginny). Their in-built restraint and total lack of terror at the sign of danger would also come in handy, should it ever reach that stage.
10 Taurus - George Weasley
George, after leaving Hogwarts, was a member of the Order. The Taurus sign is known for its rational and pragmatic outlook towards life, features that would be able to manage Fred Weasley's restless impishness.
They are quite obdurate when it comes to their rigid belief systems, whether it's about saving the world or choosing the most appropriate curtains for the drawing room, which, again would contrast brilliantly with Fred's inability to comprehend the gravity of a situation. If anyone can control a free spirit like him, it would be a Taurian.
9 Gemini - Albus Dumbledore
Albus Dumbledore is quite the mystery man, but what floats his boat, really? He sure wouldn't pair well with the crude fire of a Scorpio or the mild-mannered Pisces. The Gemini, on the other hand, is smart, inquisitive, compassionate, loving, everything that the Headmaster cherishes in others.
The interesting thing about them is that they are "two-faced", but this isn't a bad thing, necessarily. In fact, this duality could hypothetically help bring Dumbledore out of his most ancient funk: the accidental murder of his sister, Ariana.
8 Cancer - Hermione Granger
Another character who would have remained an Order member as an adult! Cancerians are famous for their nourishing temperaments, their universal acceptance, and most of all, their rather silly humor. They would find themselves cared for by Hermione, who, although being a highly rational person, is quite adept in terms of emotions as well.
In fact, half the fights with her future husband are based on his having the "emotional range of a teaspoon." Forget Ron, Hermione would be much better off with one of these guys, no doubt about it.
7 Leo - Nymphadora Tonks
Nymphadora Tonks is the ideal candidate for a match with Leo, because her mirthful demeanor and exuberant persona goes great with this sign's intrinsic confidence, devotion and overwhelming need to protect other people.
Further, Leos are likely to be accepting of alternative "lifestyles", such as, say, being a metamorphmagus. Tonks might have married Lupin, but he's not exactly the Leo she would have preferred (but love comes first and all that.)
A stereotypical Virgo tends to be very direct and organized in their everyday life, although sometimes they can push others' boundaries just a bit too far with their desperation to achieve precision.
Aberforth is not one of those people: having had to deal with his brother's search for eternal glory, he is equipped to handle the limitless Virgo drive. Also, being a calm, sensible person himself, he should find the task a lot more pleasurable than daunting.
6 Libra - Alastor Moody
It takes someone born under the balanced Libra sign to operate the multiple versions of Moody's personality: a man whose idea of precautions means "CONSTANT VIGILANCE" (Barty Crouch, Jr. was merely imitating him).
This zodiac sign exhibits a deep admiration for talent, intelligence, and power, all of which can be found in Alastor Moody. Considering the reverse: as long as any soulmate doesn't interfere in his auror work, they will have a long, happy life together.
5 Scorpio - Rubeus Hagrid
The red-hot Scorpio would benefit greatly from having Hagrid's paternal warmth in their lives (this doesn't have anything to do with daddy issues, just to be clear.) He is one of the most humane characters in the entire story, immediately empathizing with Harry's loss and suffering as if it were his own.
To the distrustful Scorpio, this kind of behavior seems like an open invitation for love, because it's generally quite difficult to get them to open up about their private lives with most people.
4 Sagittarius - Minerva McGonagall
It seems that Minerva had a muggle-lover once upon a time, although she abandons the romance in lieu of her magical identity. This shows her as someone who knows what she wants, and how far she is willing to go to make that happen: there is no Sagittarius in the world who would find such a thing objectionable.
Being smart, funny, but most importantly, egalitarian in their personal ethics goes a long way in netting someone of Professor McGonagall's caliber.
3 Capricorn - Severus Snape
Severus Snape is a shifty one, rarely revealing his inner turmoil (to anyone except Dumbledore.) Not to mention that he has a habit of mooning over his "lost Lily" from decades ago, making him an iffy partner in most cases.
Nevertheless, the Capricorn sign and its associated traits — diligence, sympathy, self-control, sensitivity — are best placed to understand the complicated nuances that make up Snape's personality. In all honesty, though, they have a painful job ahead of them.
2 Aquarius - Ron Weasley
Sure, Ron alternates between stupidly courageous and borderline hysterical, but that just means there's a lot more of him to love. That being said, it would require an Aquarius to keep up with his constant emotional fluxes, as their native features, for instance, being decisive, clear-headed, freethinking, and most of all, permanently tranquil, would come in handy here.
Hermione is usually capable of getting Ron to shut up once in a while, but her aggressive approach is not always successful against his stubbornness, is it?
1 Pisces - Sirius Black
Sirius Black is too much of a whiny brat (yes, even after Azkaban) to find someone agreeable enough to take him on. A Piscean may feel that he's far too brusque and domineering, especially towards Kreacher and Snape, but then again, they are the best emotional psychics.
This means that they can experience Sirius' suffering for themselves, and come to the conclusion that the man needs attention from people who actually care about him, something he has never received during his dozen plus years surrounded by Dementors.
