At Rosemount Elementary School, five classrooms of children of essential workers had a relatively normal classroom day Wednesday, September 23, 2020, on a day when their schoolmates were distance learning. School districts have had to scramble to pull together childcare options for essential workers. In an effort to support equity in education and YMCA has stepped in to help some districts and offer flexible options for parents who don't qualify for the free care.
