The first time I hiked to Larch Valley in Banff National Park during larch season, it snowed. My heart sank when I woke up to see the ground blanketed in white. We were prepared for colder weather, but I was afraid the snow would ruin our pictures. I couldn't have been more wrong. The scenery was incredible and a fresh dusting of snow made the colours pop.
