Cop-CBI tussle over Saradha probe

Months after CBI wrote to Kolkata Police asking it whether it had probed the Saradha financial scam that’s in public knowledge since 2009, the latter has shot back a letter mentioning that it has no mandate (unlike the ED) to investigate a financial scam without a rudimentary FIR.
