Irrigation dept to renovate all Gomti bridges

As part of Gomti’s cleaning, channelisation and riverfront development project, the irrigation department has also begin a drive to renovate and beautify over half a dozen very old bridges on Gomti so that people may enjoy viewing the river from bridge-top. The process began from Gomti Barrage three months ago and now it’s time for the Red Bridge to undergo revival. The department will put some exotic lights on the bridge and strengthen the broken walls.
