Al-Alam: shooting at Iranian scientist was controlled via satellite
Iranian nuclear engineer Mohsen Fakhrizade could have died from weapons controlled through space, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Al-Alam TV channel.
“The Israeli-made weapons used in the murder were controlled by satellite”, – the source said.
As the Iranian media wrote, in the afternoon of November 27, Fakhrizadeh was moving through one of the squares in the Absard settlement in Tehran province. As a result of the accident, one of the scientist’s guards was injured four times. Fakhrizadeh himself was taken to the hospital by helicopter, but it was not possible to save him.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif strongly condemned the assassination of a nuclear physicist, who in some media is called one of the developers of the Islamic Republic’s missile program.
The diplomat pointed to the possible involvement of Israeli special services in the incident, and also called on the international community, especially the EU, to end the policy of double standards and condemn the act of “state terrorism”.
