I thought I was straight until I had an amazing fling with my female best friend
DEAR DEIDRE: I THOUGHT I was straight until I had a fling with my female best friend.
I have never felt the same way about a guy as I did with her.
My mate is 22, I am 20 and I have known her for a couple of years.
During lockdown we got even closer and lived together. The chemistry between us was amazing.
She has now moved on with a boy and I feel sick every time I see or hear about them.
When she needs a pick-me-up she comes on to me and I feel she is using me.
How do I move on? Should I completely cut her out of my life?
My feelings for her are driving me crazy.

Tell her she can’t use you like that.
It’s probably best to stop all contact until you feel confident you’ve moved on emotionally.
Give yourself the chance to find real love.
