Ministry of Public Health reported Tuesday, that out of 1,654 samples, 230 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 161,815 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 7,890 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 49 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Six individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 87, Herat 12, Kandahar 14, Balkh 10, Nangarhar Nine, Takhar 18, Parwan 15, Nimroz Two, Badghis One, Ghazni 12, Wardak Four, Helmand Nine, Laghman Eight, Ghor Three, Kapisa 13, Panjsher Eight, Zabul One, and Uruzgan Four.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 48,363, Total deaths are 1,908 and the total recoveries are recorded 38,033.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 67,653,117 and the dead are reported to more than 1,545,824 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
