How to Defeat Lorn the Blind in Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

0

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes describes itself as a Souls-Style game, which is especially true when players face the Acolyte called Lorn the Blind. Lorn's hulking mass is a fierce opponent to go up against, and the space to fight him is very tight that can lead to some frustrated players. There are some spots to take advantage of that might seem obvious at first though navigating them can be difficult and treacherous. Having patience is genuinely going to be a virtue in this fight and will get anyone through him.

The game is a different feel to Dark Souls games but has some familiar elements that those players will recognize and feel right at home. The most significant indicators are the basic structure with the health and stamina bars on the top left and how the inventory gets managed. The game-play is from a top-down angle where players can access notes and bodies for loot, just like Bloodborne. It might not have the same first-person style, but the horrors are just as grotesque with a lot of blood going around. Morbid: The Seven Acolytes might not be as stressful as those Souls-Style games, but the feeling is there, and Lorn will be an easy introduction to the bosses in the game.

The journey to Lorn The Blind in Morbid: The Seven Acolytes begins at the Caverns of Solitude. After some time trekking through the caverns, eventually, three wooden bridges will house the battle area against Lorn. The narrow spaces will mean some fancy footwork to overtake him. With patience being a key in this boss fight, it will pay to know how to get the best strikes on him. A potent weapon that can do a lot of damage will make this fight go quicker, of course, but having patience against Lorn cannot be overstated as this fight is one where it's going to be incremental damage that gets the job done. After each hit, or two, if lucky, roll away from him, or run out of his reach, and regroup. Lorn's weak point will be his back as his attacks will only be in front of him and allow multiple shots against him. Greed here will be an enemy as he'll be able to counter fast once he realizes he's getting attacked. Hit him, roll away, let him swing, then get back into him to repeat the process. If he manages to get lucky and get a few shots in, pop some health and get back to the fight's cyclical nature and he will go down after some time.
