Nurse at Kaiser Oakland charged with child porn possession in Antioch

MARTINEZ — An Antioch man who was working as an ICU nurse at Kaiser’s Oakland facility was charged with child porn distribution, authorities announced Monday.

Shawn Jamison Prichard, 41, was charged with three counts of child porn distribution and one count of aggravated possession of child pornography in a criminal complaint filed Dec. 10, authorities said. Prichard’s bail has been set for $1 million.

Prichard was arrested Dec. 9 at a home on the 2400 block of Mammoth Way in Antioch, authorities said. During a search of his electronic devices, police say they found child sexual abuse material. The case was investigated by the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
