Report: Spurs retain interest in striker who has scored 11 times this season
According to a report from SportBild (as relayed by Sport Witness), Tottenham Hotspur retain an interest in Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst and could make an offer for him when the transfer window reopens next month.
Weghorst was linked with a move to Tottenham in the last transfer window (Express) but the North Londoners ended up signing Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan deal from Benfica instead.
The Dutch striker later confirmed that the Lilywhites did show serious interest and that he had his head turned by a potential move to Jose Mourinho’s side (Kicker).
