Big Brother Canda is one of the most famous reality tv shows in Canada. So far the production has filmed 8 seasons and the 9th season is announced for the upcoming year. Every viewer has their own favorite contester with a certain personality. The production makes sure that in each season the participants are different from each other so their differences can create certain situations.
The final prize is $100,000 which is one big motivation for everyone who is on the show to give their best to reach the end. Over the span of seven years, the audience has seen all kinds of players yet the most memorable are always the ones who win.
10 Neda Kalantar (Season 2/3rd) and (Season 5/11th)
Neda Kalantar was born in Vancouver, BC, and she works as a Freelance Fashion Stylist. Although she competed in two seasons she never managed to finish first and this was unfortunate since she stands as one of the best strategists the show has ever seen.
She was very resourceful and her knowledge of every game was uncanny. Today she is happy in a relationship with a fellow player Jon Pardy.
9 Kaela Grant (Season 6/2nd)
Kaela Grant was born in Saint John, NB, and she has what is probably one of the most amazing jobs in the world as a wine ambassador. Kaela was a two-strategy kind of girl who was speechless and nowhere to be found in the first weeks but after her first win, she began to reveal her true character.
She did not win first place but she finished second after Paras Atashnak, and to this day, she holds the record for winning the largest number of competitions as a female player.
8 Godfrey Mangwiza (Season 3/2nd)
Godfrey Mangwiza was born in Toronto, ON, he is a psychology student and currently unemployed. Godfrey had three stages of behavior throughout the show.
The first one was laying low in the beginning until the 5th week, then he slowly began to give entertaining speeches so he started to get himself noticed. He then showcased the sweet yet strong social appeal that brought him an alliance and he made it to second place since beating Sarah Hanlon was next to impossible.
7 Jillian MacLaughlin (Season 1/1st)
Jillian MacLaughlin was born in New Glasgow, NS, and she's a teacher. Jillian is the first player that won on the show Big Brother Canda since she was competing in season 1.
Her strategy consisted of two things: manipulation of other players and forming an alliance with her new romantic interest Emmett Blois, who was another player on the show. She was built to win the show and her game was spotless, she never received an eviction note nor did she lose any of the major deciding games.
6 Jon Pardy (Season 2/1st)
Jon Pardy was born in Clarenville, NL, he is a college student and currently unemployed. From the start, Jon created the strongest alliance the show has ever seen and with mutual help, they all made it to the last rounds.
Jon made everything look smooth and easy and in the end, he left with the higher prize, winning first place. He also began dating Kiera Wallace who was a player in season 7. It is safe to say that he came, saw, and left as the biggest winner.
5 Anthony Douglas (Season 7/2nd)
Anthony Douglas was born in Richmond Hill, ON, he currently is employed but sometimes works as a gas inspector. Anthony was one of those brilliant mastermind players who manipulated all the players for his gain. He teamed up when it was needed with whomever he saw fit.
He knew his strengths and weaknesses from the start so he was able to cover and protect himself by standing next to the ally he knew he would benefit from.
4 Paras Atashnak (Season 6/1st)
Paras Atashnak was born in Vancouver, BC, she is a student and currently unemployed. The strategy that Paras used was to look harmless and a little dumb at times.
She made friends and allies with every single player from the very beginning so until the very end she was laying low. Paras was officially the youngest female player to succeed in winning first place on Big Brother Canada.
3 Kevin Martin (Season 3/9th) and (Season 5/1st)
Kevin Martin was born in Calgary, AB and he works as a professional poker player. In season 5 he had a head start because he was familiar with how the show worked from his previous participation in season 3 where he landed on the 9th spot.
During season five, he was the mysterious player who was hard to read and his main strength was the ability to keep secrets and not reveal any of his own. With plenty of loyalties and alliances, he managed to win.
2 Sarah Hanlon (Season 3/1st)
Sarah Hanlon was born in Toronto, ON and she works as an employee in a vape shop. From the moment she entered the house, Sarah had a specific strategy that kept her in the game until the moment she was crowned the winner of Season 3.
She served as a regular ally and she was always ready to win a challenge to keep her spot. Because of her interesting character, she could easily make friends with everyone and that is one of the key characteristics for a player to possess.
1 Dane Rupert (Season 7/1st)
Dane Rupert was born in Kelowna, BC and he is working as a civil technician. He starred in season 7 of the reality show Big Brother Canda where he was, no doubt, the funniest contested who can be described as entertainment central.
He was the best team player and won almost all competitions that were thrown his way. He slowly worked his way up and didn't waste any time. That is how you become a Big Brother winner.
