Why Big Brother Fans Should Be Watching Sequester On YouTube

0

The Big Brother fans who are missing blindsides, gameplays, backstabbing, alliances, and twists should be watching Sequester season 4 on YouTube. 2020 has been a really busy year for reality competitions - from Survivor: Winners At War to Big Brother 22: All-Stars, the fans stuck in quarantine have enjoyed watching their favorite shows to take their minds off of everything else going on. But due to COVID-19 restrictions, there's still no forecast as to when it will be possible for CBS to film a new season of Survivor. The network made it happen for Big Brother 22, everything about the season felt different.

Now that BB22 and Survivor: WaW are in the past, the fans have been looking for a new show to turn to in order to get their fix. Unfortunately, a lot of major reality competitions will now face an indefinite hiatus until the COVID-19 pandemic is under control. But just as the reality TV world seems to be crumbling, an up-and-coming digital series keeps gaining more ground and attracting more fans with each passing year. Created in 2018 by Big Brother 17 alum Audrey Middleton, Sequester has everything that the fans have been asking for.

Sequester season 4 premiered on YouTube on November 29, 2020 - or about a month after the Big Brother 22: All-Stars finale. This may be a web series, but don't get it twisted: the production value on season 4 is absurdly high and the show absolutely feels like a reality competition airing on TV. The rules of Sequester are fairly simple for any longtime fan of Big Brother and Survivor to catch up to, so the barrier to entry is fairly low even if you didn't watch any previous season. Moreover, it is clear how much effort showrunner Audrey Middleton and her Sequester team put behind the casting process. In particular, the season 4 cast is beautifully diverse, with people representing all sorts of backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, professions, and personalities. Best of all, the series is absolutely free for anyone to watch on YouTube. New episodes of Sequester season 4 air every Sunday at 9pm EST on YouTube. You can watch the season 4 premiere episode below.

This year's diverse Sequester season 4 cast features rapper Billy CEO, college student Brendon Smith, Rob Has A Podcast personality Brent Wolgamott, social media manager Jacob Jones, season 3 star Jordan West, bartender Josh Abbott, event coordinator Katie Hopkins, account manager Marcelo Veron, paralegal Muna Abdulahi, tax specialist Natalie Stine, sales manager Rachel Stearns, tech and poker innovator Shirin Oskooi, and sales rep Spencer Brief. In the end, one of these people will win Sequester 4 and take home a cash prize of $2,500.

If you're a Big Brother fan out there looking for something new to watch, you should definitely hop aboard the Sequester train.
