Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new holiday card proves royal life is behind them — and that Archie takes after his dad
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just sent out their first family Christmas card from the US, and Mayhew, an animal welfare charity that Markle supports, revealed the photo in a tweet on Wednesday.
According to Hello magazine, a representative for the family said Doria Ragland, Markle's mother, took the original photo at their home earlier this month.
"The small Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, were selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays," the representative added.
We’re thrilled to receive wonderful Christmas wishes from our Patron, The Duchess of Sussex, who also made a personal donation, helping dogs, cats and our community. ???? From all of us at Mayhew, thank you and Merry Christmas. ????????????

Mayhew announced in the tweet that Markle has also made a personal donation in addition to sending well wishes with the family card.
The photo shows Markle and Harry on either side of their son, Archie. The whole family, including their two dogs Pula and Guy, is pictured in front of a playhouse in their California yard.
A source close to the family told People magazine, "Archie is thriving and growing quickly. As a family, they spend hours outside."
Last Christmas, the Sussex family card was shared by The Queen's Commonwealth Trust.

Though it's an artistic rendering of a photo, the 2020 card reveals that 19-month-old Archie has taken after his dad with a head full of red hair.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2020 holiday card also drew comparisons between child and parent
The Cambridges' holiday photo was leaked on social media before it was officially released on December 16. The family portrait, taken earlier this year at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk, England, features Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids: Prince George, 7; Princess Charlotte, 5; and Prince Louis, 2.
As Insider's Mikhaila Friel reported, many think Princess Charlotte looks just like her dad Prince William in the photo.
