Afghanistan Reports 234 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours
Ministry of Public Health reported Thursday, that out of 2,568 samples, 234 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 188,860 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 8,174 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 622 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Nine individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 39, Herat 32, Kandahar 27, Balkh Four, Nangarhar 16, Takhar 12, Baghlan 11, Bamyan Six, Kunduz 10, Nimroz 19, Dykundi Six, Ghazni One, Logar Two, Badghis Two, Badakhshan Three, Wardak Two, Kapisa 22, Kunar Four, Zabul One, Uruzgan Two, Faryab Two, Samangan Two, Jawzjan Six and Sar-e-Pul Three.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 51,594, Total deaths are 2,135 and the total recoveries are recorded 40,582.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 78,742,234 and the dead are reported to more than 1,731,191 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
