Carabao Cup semi-final draw: we get Brentford

We’ve been drawn against Brentford, while holders Manchester City will travel to face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup semi-final.

Championship side Brentford, the lowest-ranked club left in the competition, are away to us in the other semi-final.

The ties are single-leg matches instead of the traditional two-legged format; this is to ease fixture congestion caused by the season’s delayed start.

We will be playing in the week commencing 4 January 2021.
