So down here in East Anglia, we are now in Tier 4 from Boxing Day. We knew it was coming, it was just a question of when.
A few others I can think of on here who will be affected by this include Whiteswan, Clacton White, Denman and Norfolk White. I'm sure there are others.
Incredible to think that only a month ago Suffolk just missed out on remaining in tier 1.
What price a complete UK lockdown in the New Year?
Indeed we are . I think it's partly to do with being adjacent to highly infected area's , though cases here are rising . Tendring , our area , has around 390 cases or 280ish per 100k at last look . Only a matter of time before whole country is tier 4 IMO . Lockdown basically only delays rather than stops , the new variant really is an unknown right now as you don't know the actual strength of it , spreads easier but you don't as yet know it's potency . I think we are in for a tough 2021 as it's not going away any time soon .I remember Boris in summer saying it will be over for Xmas . Well done Boris .
