Wonder Woman Just Got A Massive Power Upgrade | Screen Rant

In order to stop the biggest threat that Wonder Woman or any DC hero has ever faced, Diana Prince is about to get a massive power upgrade that will make her capable of going against the Darkest Knight. In a new preview for Dark Nights: Death Metal #7, Wonder Woman uses her Lasso of Truth to become something entirely new.
In Death Metal #6 by Scott Synder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plasencia and Tom Napolitano, Wonder Woman successfully made it into the Forge of Worlds in an effort to stop the Batman Who Laughs - who just defeated the other cosmic juggernaut standing in his way, Perpetua. Once locating the Forge, Diana dips her Lasso of Truth into the special forge which turns her into a gold-being filled with Anti-Crisis Energy. It's quite the cosmic upgrade.
In a brand new preview for Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 on CBR.com, Wonder Woman's new powers are showcased. She emerges from the Forge of Worlds with the ability to see everything - from the past to the present. She sees Bruce fighting the Robin King, Clark fighting a corrupted Superman, the fallen heroes, and most importantly, as she looks into the future for hope, she sees just the Darkest Knight. In a fight between Gods, a giant gold Wonder Woman fights the Batman Who Laughs despite knowing it's her final enemy. After getting taunted by her opponent and realizing just how powerful he is, she uses her new powers to shrink one of his corrupted Earth's and proceeds to hit him with it.
For once, it appears the final form of Batman Who Laughs has met his match. With Wonder Woman harnessing enough crisis energy that she can match blows with the Darkest Knight, it appears DC's mightiest heroes have a chance at winning the seemingly impossible battle against him. Will Wonder Woman sacrifice herself in order to stop the Multiverse from crumbling? Teases for Infinite Frontier seem to suggest she won't make it out of the fight the same - whether she's still alive remains to be seen.
Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 will set the stage for what's to come in the upcoming Future State event. If the preview is any indication, Wonder Woman will be the key to saving everything and everyone - what's happens next is unknown, but if she can take down the Darkest Knight, it will be one of the most heroic actions ever in DC Comics history. Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 is in stores January 5, 2021.
