Syrian Army foils jihadist attack in southeastern Idlib
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) confronted a group of jihadist rebels on Tuesday that attempted to attack their positions in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
According to a field report from the Idlib Governorate, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) attacked the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in the Saraqib countryside, as they attempted to infiltrate into the town of of Afs, which also has a presence of Russian military police.
