Farmer unions in their letter also put the withdrawal of the draft Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2020 on the agenda, instead of amendments in the same as demanded earlier by the unions. In their letter, the farmer groups also demanded a discussion on modalities for bringing a law guaranteeing a higher MSP as per recommendations of the National Farmers Commission and MSP for all crops.
