Danny and Amy Frishmuth had their fair share of struggles on 90 Day Fiancé season two. From Amy's homesickness to the judgment of Danny's father on mixed-race marriages, the young couple had the odds stacked against them. But love conquered in the end and now, six years later, the soon-to-be parents of three are living out their happily ever after.
The 90 Day Fiancé couple met in Australia during a Bible study trip when Danny was 21 and Amy was 19. Despite their age, each knew they had found their person. Danny proposed at the end of the trip and they were granted a K-1 visa. Amy left her entire life in South Africa behind to move to small-town Pennsylvania and marry Danny within 90 days, as required by the visa. Upon arriving in the United States, it was a rocky start. Amy stayed with Danny's brother to ensure they stayed abstinent until marriage, but the distance from her fiancé – her only true friend in this new country – proved daunting. The objections of Danny's father to a bi-racial relationship didn't help the situation.
However, Danny and Amy successfully jumped every hurdle thrown their way. Currently, they're enjoying married life and are raising two beautiful children named Jed and Anna in Fort Worth, Texas. Earlier this year, the pair announced that daughter No. 2 is on the way. Amy posted on Instagram a touching photo of her husband and Anna to express appreciation of Danny's parenting skills. She said, "My dad passed away just before I turned 2, in many ways watching Danny father has been redeeming for me & to be able to see first hand all the daddy-daughter moments between them is something I'll forever treasure!" The post can be seen below.
Based on their social media posts about one another, it's clear Danny and Amy's love has only grown deeper over time. In an Instagram post to celebrate their 5-year anniversary, Danny said, "I've learned so much from you! Thank God - He put me with someone who is so different from me! I truly am a different and better man because of you Amz." The post can be seen below.
In addition to raising their ever-growing family, Danny and Amy are staying strong in their faith. While in Texas, they helped launch Mercy Culture Church, which aims to incite daily personal encounters with God. Danny said, "If you asked us two years ago why we moved to Texas - we would have said, 'No clue, God told us to.' Less than one year of moving here God opened doors to be part of an incredible church launch - Mercy Culture Church. The faithfulness of God is overwhelming. It is such an honor to listen and obey the Father."
After investing so much time in the lives of lives 90 Day Fiancé couples, it's always rewarding to see them make it...especially the ones who were extremely likable. Along with Danny and Amy, season four's Matt Ryan and Alla Fedoruk are still going strong and welcomed a baby girl into the world in April. As for David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan from season five, who almost split after the 24-year-old Thailand native discovered the 51-year-old divorced dad's cheating past, they're also together...even in spite of his new micro-bladed eyebrow look.
