Asteroid travelling at more than 48,000 kilometres per hour set to whizz past Earth

AN ASTEROID travelling at more than 48,000 kilometres per hour is set to whizz past our planet and NASA is keeping a close eye on the space rock which it has determined will have a "near Earth" approach.
