90 Day Fiance: Larissa Lima To Donate Cameo Earnings To Charity
Larissa Lima from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has announced that she will be donating all of her upcoming Cameo earnings to charity. She wants to start fighting for immigration rights, by helping those who suffer as they slip through the cracks.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 4 introduced TLC fans to Larissa and her then-husband Colt Johnson. Very quickly, they became a standout couple on the show, mostly due to their volatile and dysfunctional 90 Day Fiancé relationship. During their season, Colt and Larissa went through her third arrest for domestic violence, which ultimately led the couple to divorce. After their separation, the two have gone their separate ways. Now, it looks like they have successfully moved on.
The TLC favorite recently announced that after starring on the reality show, she started taking antidepressants to soothe her anxiety. Fans are aware that the star has gone through quite a lot of emotional turmoil in the past year, but now she is looking to give back to those less fortunate. The model took to her Larissa Lima Instagram to share some inspiring news (as of this writing, her account is set to private). The Brazillian bombshell posted a screenshot of her Cameo account, showing that she could not accept any payment into her account. She wrote an uplifting message saying, "With the generosity of people around the world, ordering Cameos from me for the last two years, I am here today. From this moment on, I am donating all money I earn with Cameo to charities. As it is something I went through, my focus is the victims of domestic violence inflicted on immigrants in the US".
The mother of two went on to say, "It's my dream to create a foundation, "The Larissa Foundation" to aid any immigrants that have found themselves in a situation of abuse, whether it is marriage, relationship, or work-related." The reality star is currently recovering from a recent surgery. Still, she promised to "fulfill this dream as soon as I can resume my Cameos after my recovery." Larissa went on to ask her fans if they knew of any charities that could benefit from her help, and also sent a thank you message to her fans, writing, "To all of you that have supported me through Cameo, I am thrilled to be in a position now to pay it forward. God Bless all of you. ????❤"
Even though TLC and her ex-husband tried to paint her as the 90 Day Fiancé villain, she has come up smelling like roses thanks to her kind heart and her openness with her fans. Larissa has capitalized on her love for plastic surgery. Her cosmetic enhancements are keeping her name in the spotlight, even after she was let go from the TLC network. She was reportedly fired because the network's higher-ups felt that her image had become too sexualized. It is nice to see a celebrity give back with such an open heart in these uncertain times.
90 Day Fiancé airs on Sunday at 8 pm EST on TLC
