Covid postponements (20 replies)

I see Brentford's next two games have been postponed due to an outbreak of covid infection amongst their players and other staff.

Can anyone tell me what the rules are for a postponement on the grounds of infection? How many 1st team squad members need to test positive before a game is cancelled?

I have to admit that I'm not really sympathetic to clubs in the Premiership given how many players they have on their books - as we saw in the FA cup, clubs can field a decent side including players from outside the first team squad.
