The ruling BJP in Assam is targeting to garner at least 1 crore votes in the 2021 assembly polls. In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Assam had a total electorate of nearly 2.18 crore. After revision of the electoral roll ahead of the assembly polls this year, this number is likely to increase.
