Shadow Stunky is one of the harder Pokemon to encounter for the Sinnoh Collection challenge. Here's where to catch and find it in Pokemon Go.
Shadow Stunky is one of the more complicated Pokemon players need to catch in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can find and capture it for the Sinnoh Collection challenge. The Sinnoh Collection challenge requires that players capture a specific 9 Pokemon that originate from the Sinnoh region before this upcoming Sunday. Some of these Pokemon spawn frequently like the starters while others may take a bit more time. Unlike the Unova Collection challenge, this one requires that the player capture 2 of the Pokemon in their shadow forms, which require players to defeat Team Rocket Grunts. This guide will show players what they need to do to find a Shadow Stunky.
Team Rocket has been a significant part of the Pokemon series since the very beginning. This evil organization plan to use Pokemon for their own evil deeds and made their debut in Pokemon Go a few years back. Since then, players have been able to battle Team Rocket and rescue the Shadow Pokemon. With kindness and love, players have been able to purify the darkness within the Pokemon's heart and return them to normal. For the Sinnoh Collection challenge, players are required to capture a Shiny Stunky. This guide will show players how they can find them.
To find a Shadow Stunky, players will first need to battle a Team Rocket Grunt. Although, there is a way to determine which exact Team Rocket Grunt will have Stunky as a Pokemon. Before each battle, Team Rocket Grunts will have a small phrase that hints at what Pokemon they have. To find Stunky, battle the Team Rocket Grunt that states "Wherever there is light, there is also shadow" meaning that this grunt has Dark-type Pokemon. Bring along a Pokemon with strong Fighting-type moves to quickly sweep his team and capture the Shadow Stunky to complete the challenge.
It may take a while to encounter the proper grunt so keep heading to glitchy PokeStops and read the text to find out more. Also, every 6 hours, a Team Rocket balloon will appear above the player. Check these out for more opportunities to find the Shadow Stunky. This isn't the only Shadow Pokemon needed for this challenge since Shadow Snover is also required. Continue to complete these challenges to unlock exclusive medals that will become unavailable for collection after this upcoming Sunday. Get out there and rescue those Shadow Pokemon.
