Bradshaw Bunch: Everything to Know About Terry Bradshaw
Now that Keeping Up With The Kardashians has officially wrapped filming its final season, a spot is open for a new first family of E!. Throwing their hats in the ring are Terry Bradshaw and his family, with The Bradshaw Bunch. The series, filmed at Terry's ranch in Thackerville, Oklahoma, features the football legend, his fourth wife Tammy, daughters Rachel and Erin from his third marriage, Tammy's daughter Lacey Luttrell-Hester, and Lacey's adorable little girl Zurie.
Though the younger generation seems to be the show's breakout stars, there's no question that Terry is by far the most famous Bradshaw. Even those who don't know him by name have surely seen him somewhere before. For several decades, the Louisiana native has achieved incredible success in a variety of different fields.
Like Caitlyn Jenner prior to KUWTK, Terry Bradshaw first rose to fame via an athletic career. The Louisiana Tech graduate was a first-round draft pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1970 and stayed on the team until retiring in 1984. During these 14 NFL seasons, he became famous for his incredibly powerful throwing arm. The Steelers Quarterback earned a multitude of honors throughout his career. He won four Super Bowls, was named MVP twice, had three Pro Bowl victories, and is in the Hall of Fame. After retiring, he began his career as a commentator, showing off his humor and charismatic personality.
After appearing in three Burt Reynolds movies during his football days, Terry found more success in Hollywood, post-retirement. He's played a fictional version of himself a number of times, on shows such as The Simpsons and Modern Family, as well as the movie Father Figures. Perhaps his biggest role to date was as Matthew McConaughey's father in the 2005 rom-com Failure to Launch. Another honor was earned when he became the first NFL player to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition to acting, Terry's had a consistent love for country singing, even releasing an album in the 1970s. Following in those footsteps, his daughter Rachel Bradshaw is a country singer-songwriter.
The Bradshaw Bunch isn't his first appearance on reality television. The 2016-18 NBC series Better Late Than Never followed Henry Winkler, William Shatner, George Foreman, Jeff Dye, and Terry as they traveled the world. He also competed on the third season of The Masked Singer in 2019. Time will tell whether or not the E! show has a longer life than those previous reality stints.
