[Women's Swimming] Pennington wins second MSC Swimmer of Week Award

Ashland, Ky. native Kenzie Pennington, following two individual event victories in the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke as well as two relay victories in the 200 meter medley and 200 meter freestyle relays, was named as the Mid-South Conference's Swimmer of the Week for the second time in the 2020-21 season, as announced by conference officials Monday afternoon.

In the individual events, Pennington posted times of 1:21.92 and 2:57.19 to win both the 100 and 200 meter breaststrokes. She won the four-person 100-meter breaststroke, besting second place Kendal Goodman of Campbellsville by nearly 11 seconds in that race, and won the 200-meter breaststroke as well, beating Goodman by over 25 seconds in that race as well.
