The Strongest Justice League Ever Assembles in DCeased: Dead Planet

DCeased: Dead Planet #7 sees the Justice League go up against a planet full of undead, an army of androids, and the devil himself, as these three forces attack the Earth at the same time in the epic conclusion to this zombie apocalypse arc. Fortunately, DC assembled the strongest version of the Justice League to meet the challenge - and they didn’t disappoint.
The Amazo army was first teased back in issue #3, leaving fans to wonder whether they would save or doom DC’s universe. With the revelation that the anti-living can actually be cured, stopping the Amazos from wiping them out became the heroes’ top priority. The problem is that the original Amazo was built to take on the entire Justice League alone. With the ability to copy the powers of anyone he faces, Amazo is basically a one-man superhuman army, and the Justice League of DCeased has to face an actual army of androids just like him. It sounds like a suicide mission, but believe it or not, the heroes make it look easy.
The DCeased series has killed off countless characters, but it hasn’t been shy about handing out upgrades, either. Black Canary inherited Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern ring, Cassandra Cain became the new Shazam, and Superboy is said to have become even stronger than his father. There’s also John Constantine, who combines various magical artifacts and assumes his ultimate form to save DC's world. The issue explicitly states that this version of the League is way stronger than what fans have seen before. “This wasn’t the Justice League [Amazo had] been built for. These were warriors. Wielders of the living lightning. The greatest trained fighters on the planet. Holders of the most powerful weapons in the universe. And actual gods.”
Each individual hero takes out countless Amazos, and considering they all have the abilities of each original Justice League member, it’s safe to assume DC's heroes are mightier here than they’ve ever been. Still, the sheer number of Amazos nearly overwhelms them, but Batman and Cyborg manage to hack into the remaining forces and shut them down before it's too late. The fact that only a handful of heroes were able to hold back an army of androids individually designed to take on the whole Justice League is truly impressive, and proves that the Earth will be in good hands as it strives to recover from this apocalypse.
DCeased: Dead Planet many be over, but there are still plenty of loose ends that may tease the next story. Whatever the future holds, this version of the Justice League is probably the best team of protectors the planet could ask for, and while they're hopefully about to enjoy a period of rest and recovery, fans are hoping they'll be back soon to face another threat worthy of their attention.
