Amid several Republican senators supporting a
disputed legal argument that holding a Senate impeachment trial against a former president is unconstitutional, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) rejected that notion on Sunday as he argued that Trump’s incitement of the mob who breached the Capitol earlier this month is an impeachable offense.
