[Women's Basketball] Mustangs' Fourth Quarter Surge Stymies Warriors on the Road

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - A third quarter surge was not enough for Midland University's women's basketball team as they fell against No. 11-ranked Morningside College on Saturday afternoon, 82-60, on the road.

Morningside scored the first four points of the game and they never looked back as the Warriors trailed the rest of the game. The teams traded baskets throughout the opening quarter as Midland cut the Mustangs lead down to two points. Morningside would closet the quarter with a 6-3 run though to extend their lead back out.
