Jimmy Butler Questionable Sunday vs. Hawks

Butler is a new addition to the Heat’s injury report, and it could have massive implications for their matchup vs. the Hawks on Sunday. The Heat have gone 10-5 since Butler returned in late January, and the Heat have surged up the standings with him back in the lineup. He’s been incredible for Miami over that time frame, averaging 21.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game.

The Heat also have some other injury concerns for Sunday. Tyler Herro is currently questionable after missing each of the past three games, while Bam Adebayo and Gabe Vincent are probable.

If Herro and Butler are both unable to suit up, Goran Dragic will have to carry a massive workload offensively. He’s increased his usage rate by +2.1% with both players off the court this season, resulting in an average of 1.02 FanDuel points per minute.

The Butler news has also had an impact on the betting line. The Heat were listed as high as six-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, but they’re down to just -3.5.
