The job retention scheme has rescued millions of jobs. It has kept thousands of businesses afloat. And it has helped workers and their families get through the UK's lockdowns. While there's positive news on vaccinations and falling cases, the Chancellor is still in too much of a hurry to withdraw the job retention scheme.
