WandaVision Finale Trailer Hypes Marvel Show’s Success With Critics
A new trailer for the WandaVision finale has been released. Marvel Studios first Phase 4 project is almost finished, with only one more episode left before the Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-led series comes to a close. To boost up hype coming into its last outing, a short clip has been unveiled featuring some scenes from the upcoming offering.
Starting off as a sitcom-inspired show, Marvel Studios' first Disney+ project has gradually picked up pace over the last several weeks, revealing what was really going on in Westview. Following a series of twists and turns, including the reveal that Agnes (aka Agatha Harkness) has been the primary villain of the story, WandaVision's penultimate episode titled "Previously On" took a trip down memory line and revisited Wanda's most traumatic experiences, which all contributed to her mental breakdown. The outing revealed how exactly her parents were killed, as well as how HYDRA experimented on her using the Mind Stone. In the end, Agnes laid it out simply: Wanda is using Chaos Magic making her the Scarlet Witch — the first time she's called her superhero name in the MCU.
Now, Marvel Studios (via @cosmic_marvel) has released a teaser trailer previewing what's still to come on WandaVision. Despite only clocking in at 27 seconds, it features scenes from the upcoming outing. It also teases the final battle potentially between Scarlet Witch and Agatha. Check it out below:
Marvel Studios' marketing for WandaVision deliberately focused on the sitcom aspect of the show as it's unique to the MCU. This has kept viewers occupied with that, effectively getting away with barely releasing any snippets from the final couple of episodes. This has allowed them to keep the show's ending firmly under wraps, and while this latest clip is quite short, the footage included in it is more than enough to keep the hype up until the outing finally becomes available to stream on Disney+.
There are still several pressing questions that the WandaVision finale needs to address outside of Wanda's personal narrative like who exactly is Evan Peters' character dubbed as fake Pietro and what Agnes' real motivation for terrorizing Wanda. As for the Vision created inside the hex, will he survive outside of the pocket reality? The same question goes for Billy and Tommy. Finally, what will happen to Monica Rambeau now that she has her superpowers? Thankfully, fans don't have to wait that much longer to get these answers.
