New Zealand tsunami alert as 'three metre' waves poised to hit NZ- evacuation ordered

A TSUNAMI warning has been issued for New Zealand after a major magnitude 8.0 earthquake rocked Kermadec Islands. Tsunami waves between one and three metres in height are expected to hit parts of the northern coast of New Zealand.
