No. 1 seed Loyola easily dispatched No. 9 Southern Illinois 73-49 in the first quarterfinal game of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Friday in St. Louis, moving the Ramblers one step closer to their first tournament title since 2018. Reserve center Jacob Hutson led the Ramblers with 13 points.
