Opinion: Why Spurs should consider Graham Potter as a future manager

The recent 4-0 win over Burnley and narrow victory over Fulham have eased pressure on Jose Mourinho, but some fans are still looking at future replacements.

The number one target has to be Julian Nagelsmann, but several options could include the current Brighton manager, Graham Potter.

It may seem like a weird choice, as Brighton are in 16th place. However, Brighton are known for having an extremely high xG. xG, also known as expected goals, is a stat used to calculate how many goals a team should score. 

Spurs usually have a low xG due to the counter-attacking we played earlier on in the season; contrasting Brighton’s usual numbers. If you placed Kane and Son in that team, they would easily be in the top 10.
