[Men's Soccer] Warriors Extend Home Win Streak To Three With Win Over WJU

SAN DIMAS, Calif. – The home-field advantage that LPU has been able to use against their opponents this year has led them to a 3-0 home record. In addition to the unblemished home record, the Warriors have yet to surrender a single goal at home with three clean sheets adding up to a 16-0 scoring advantage over the three matches. The match against William Jessup was an even battle for the majority of the 1st half until Gbanzi Asabi scored a goal at the 27th minute. Asabi is currently the leading scorer in the GSAC. In the 2nd half, Yerry Mendez showcased his talent early with a goal less than two minutes into the half followed by another goal at the 60th-minute mark. LPU won the match 3-0 led by their strong defense and high-level passing ability. The Master's University will be the next opponent to challenge the Warriors on their home field when the Mustangs come to LPU on March 9th.
