Bond set at $50,000 for man shot by rail police officer during struggle that began with ticket collection, prosecutors say

A train passenger on the South Shore Line, irate over being asked to pay for a ticket, allegedly clawed at a transit police officer’s eyes before the cop shot him in the stomach Thursday morning, prosecutors said.
